About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the project team throughout the development and execution phases of construction projects. You will gain exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, procurement, and project controls. This role provides hands-on experience with project management processes and tools while you contribute to active projects.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop project schedules and track progress.
- Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
- Assist with safety documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documents including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks like purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
