About the role#
The Project Management Intern supports the Project Manager and the broader team during the development and execution of construction projects. This role offers exposure to engineering coordination, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world tasks and processes.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop project schedules and track progress.
- Prepare subcontractor and vendor documentation under supervision.
- Assist with safety-related documentation and reporting.
- Contribute to monthly project review reports and financial tracking.
- Manage project documents, including RFI submittals.
- Assist with procurement tasks like purchase orders and subcontract packages.
- Monitor design, procurement, and construction progress.
- Participate in project close-out activities and lessons learned sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Compensation: $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
