About the role#
As an Information Security Operations Analyst intern, you will support operational excellence by monitoring key security processes and analyzing operational data. You will work under the guidance of the Security Operations Manager and the analyst team to support day-to-day security operations. This role focuses on ensuring consistent and efficient execution of the Security Operations program across the company.
What you'll do#
- Monitor key security processes to support operational excellence.
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities to improve security effectiveness, compliance, and service delivery.
- Support vulnerability management tasks.
- Conduct security metrics reviews.
- Handle security operations center tickets and assist with remediation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- US Citizenship.
- Current full-time enrollment in a QTS partner institution or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java.
- Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Suwanee, Georgia.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
- This position is paid.
