About the role#
The Corporate Accounting Intern role offers exposure to the daily functions of a corporate accounting environment. You will work alongside subject matter experts to support QTS operations. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with internal and external reporting tasks.
- Support internal audit processes.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Review and approve invoices and requisitions.
- Create and approve projects, journal entries, and financial analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel for budgeting and data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- US Citizenship.
- Current full-time enrollment in a QTS partner institution, a Blackstone LaunchPad partner school, or a school served by Blackstone LaunchPad strategic channel partners.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in finance, construction, technology, HR, or facilities engineering is preferred.
- Involvement in community activities like athletics, clubs, volunteering, or part-time work.

- This role is on-site at one of the following locations: Overland Park, KS; Richmond, VA; Phoenix, AZ; or Irving, TX.
- Internship term: Summer 2027.
