About the role#
As a Sourcing Intern at Qorvo, you will work within our Global Operations business group. You will help our commodity leaders meet sourcing goals while gaining experience in procurement functions. This role involves maintaining data, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with global teams.
What you'll do#
- Assist Global Sourcing Commodity Leaders with daily sourcing objectives.
- Prepare and maintain weekly reporting metrics and performance dashboards for the management team.
- Collaborate with global operations teams to identify and implement process improvements using Lean principles.
- Create and update work instructions, procedures, and process documentation for procurement.
- Perform spend analysis, conduct supplier research, and collect data to support sourcing initiatives.
- Help cross-functional teams execute cost reduction and supplier performance improvement projects.
- Maintain sourcing databases to ensure data accuracy across our systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Project management coursework or previous experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI and Power Query.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and effectively within a team.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
