About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in Richardson, Texas. You will work on-site for 8 months starting in January 2027. This role provides hands-on experience within a clean room facility, working alongside industry experts on semiconductor manufacturing projects.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects in areas such as evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, electroplating, plasma etch, dry or wet etch, photolithography, wafer dicing, and CMP.
- Collect data using various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software including Spotfire and Excel.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or experience with semiconductor processing techniques like PVD, CVD, lithography, dry or wet etch, and CMP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site for 8 months starting in January 2027.
- Experience with Spotfire is a plus.

- Compensation: $31 to $42 per hour.
