About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Data Engineering Intern to join the High Performance Analog business group. This role provides an opportunity to work on real projects that support our technical goals. You will work alongside engineers and analysts to solve complex problems and move prototypes toward production.
What you'll do#
- Explore and analyze large datasets to identify trends and anomalies.
- Build, train, and validate machine learning models for forecasting and optimization.
- Engineer features from structured and unstructured data using Python and Spark on AWS.
- Design experiments and use statistical methods to assess model performance.
- Present findings through visualizations and summaries to both technical and non-technical teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Python, including libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, and NumPy.
- Coursework or experience in machine learning, statistics, or experimental design.
- Familiarity with SQL and Git.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
- Exposure to Spark or cloud platforms is a plus.

- Location: Salem, Oregon.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $31 to $42 per hour.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
