About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within the tax practice to support teams in delivering tax services. This role focuses on gaining exposure to tax methodologies, participating in project work, and performing tasks that contribute to team goals. You will have the opportunity to observe professional work environments and develop your skills in tax consulting.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist in the analysis of tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.

- This is an on-site internship located in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The term for this position is Summer 2028.
