About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with our tax consulting teams to gain experience in global tax services. You will support the delivery of tax advice, help manage tax risks, and contribute to compliance efforts. This role focuses on learning our methodologies, performing project tasks, and building your professional foundation through observation and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions.
- Participate in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to build tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Apply data analytics to identify tax optimization opportunities.
- Assist in the development of regulatory compliance strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA, with a preference for 3.5.
- Ability to meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time.
- Experience using AI for efficiency.
- Interest in tax research, planning, and corporate tax consulting.
- Experience with data analytics for strategy optimization.
- Familiarity with multistate tax compliance and partnership tax initiatives.
