About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will join our tax consulting practice to gain experience with tax planning and compliance. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support client projects, analyze regulations, and contribute to the delivery of tax services. This role focuses on building your technical skills and understanding of professional tax methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically in the third year of a four-year degree or the fourth year of a five-year program.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Austin, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Winter 2028.
- This is a paid position.
