About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work within the tax consulting practice to support teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies. You will gain exposure to tax methodologies while performing tasks that contribute to team goals. This role involves observing professional work environments and developing your skills through direct project participation.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Assist in the analysis of tax regulations to optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- You are typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or the fourth year of a five-year program.
