About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will gain exposure to tax consulting by supporting teams with their client work. You will learn PwC methodologies, participate in projects, and perform tasks that contribute to team goals. This role focuses on helping businesses navigate tax regulations, manage risk, and improve their tax positions. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and professional brand.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze tax regulations to help optimize client positions and reduce risks.
- Conduct research to support consulting projects.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax efficiency.
- Collaborate on tax models and structures for clients.
- Assist with tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically in the third year of a four-year program or the fourth year of a five-year program.
