About the role#
As a Tax Intern at PwC, you will work within our tax practice to support teams in delivering tax services. You will focus on learning our methodologies and performing tasks that contribute to team goals. This role provides exposure to corporate tax consulting, international tax planning, and multistate compliance.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to help optimize tax positions and minimize risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance activities.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits to validate compliance.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
