About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will immerse yourself in tax consulting and gain exposure to global tax practices. You will support teams in delivering tax services that optimize strategies, manage risks, and ensure compliance. This role focuses on learning our methodologies, participating in project work, and performing tasks that contribute to team success. You will observe professional work environments and build your skills while working alongside experienced tax professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize tax positions.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to develop tax models and structures.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Apply data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA (3.5 GPA preferred).
- Typically in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- Ability to meet CPA exam eligibility requirements in your intended state of employment before starting full-time.
- Intellectual curiosity in tax research and planning.
- Experience or interest in leveraging AI for efficiency and using data analytics for tax strategy.
- Engagement in corporate tax consulting, international tax projects, and partnership tax initiatives.

- Compensation: $29.25 - $48.00 per hour.
