About the role#
As an intern in the Customs and International Trade practice, you will work with teams to navigate global tax requirements and optimize trade operations. This role focuses on learning PwC methodologies while contributing to client projects. You will gain hands-on experience in trade compliance, customs brokerage, and supply chain strategy.
What you'll do#
- Support teams in managing customs duties and import/export compliance.
- Assist in preparing and submitting documentation for customs clearance.
- Conduct research on customs tariffs and valuation to support strategic planning.
- Gather information to analyze facts and identify patterns in trade regulations.
- Contribute to the development of solutions for global supply chain optimization.
- Observe and learn from experienced professionals while asking questions to build your knowledge.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, or Supply Chain Management.
- Typically in the third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA (3.5 preferred).
- Ability to use AI tools to create efficiencies and deliver outcomes.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade.
- Strong active listening and communication skills.
- A learning mindset and the ability to work in a team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Rosemont, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full time, paid internship.
- Travel: Up to 20 percent.
