About the role#
As a Summer Intern in the Risk Services practice, you will join an IT Audit team focused on assessing and strengthening technology controls. You will work alongside experienced professionals to evaluate the IT environments, systems, and processes that support financial reporting and business operations. This role provides exposure to IT general controls, cybersecurity measures, data integrity, and system implementations, helping organizations manage risk and build trust in their information systems.
What you'll do#
- Conduct audit work efficiently while meeting established deadlines.
- Maintain constant communication with lead advisors and directors.
- Document audit evidence clearly and concisely, validating its quality.
- Analyze the impact of control deficiencies on financial data and audit strategy.
- Identify business development opportunities to offer firm services to new and existing clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in post-secondary education while working toward Canadian CPA prerequisite courses.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both oral and written.
- Motivation to learn about IT risks, internal controls, and control frameworks.
- A proven ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
