About the role#
This is a 4-month co-op position for the Fall 2027 term. You will join the International Tax Services practice in Toronto as an Associate. This role focuses on helping Canadian and foreign companies manage the complexities of their international operations and cross-border investments.
What you'll do#
- Assist Canadian and foreign companies with cross-border investments, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing.
- Advise on complex international tax matters and global minimum tax rules.
- Optimize tax positions and deliver strategic insights for business decisions.
- Gain hands-on experience with technology tools to support tax research and reporting.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to solve client challenges.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Interest in technology trends and an openness to learning new digital tools.
- A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working with diverse perspectives.
