About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to gain exposure to financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced teams to provide independent assessments that help clients maintain transparency and regulatory compliance. This role is a chance to observe professional audit processes and develop a foundational understanding of financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Participate in the review and verification of financial documents.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial data.
- Document audit processes and findings.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls.
- Learn and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- You must be in your third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
- You must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
