About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join the Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits. You will work alongside audit teams to support client initiatives, observe professional workflows, and develop a foundational understanding of audit practices. This role focuses on learning how to apply accounting standards and methodologies while contributing to project goals.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend areas for improvement.
- Document audit processes and findings to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.

- Compensation: $29.25 - $48.00 per hour, based on skills and qualifications.
