About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice in Los Angeles for the Winter 2028 term. You will work alongside audit teams to gain exposure to financial statement audits and learn our methodologies. This role is designed to help you understand audit practices, financial reporting, and client interactions through hands-on experience and observation.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to help maintain transparency and compliance.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and assist in decision-making.
- Document audit processes and findings to ensure accurate records.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis skills to support the audit process.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Status as a third-year student in a four-year program or fourth-year student in a five-year program.
- Ability to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
