About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced teams to help clients maintain transparency and meet regulatory requirements. This role provides exposure to audit methodologies, financial reporting, and the day-to-day operations of a professional services firm.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
- Evaluate internal controls and suggest areas for improvement.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- You maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- You are typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or the fourth year of a five-year program.
- You must meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
