About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on exposure to auditing methodologies. This role focuses on helping clients maintain transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements while you build your foundational knowledge of financial reporting.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure they meet accounting standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends that inform decision-making.
- Document audit processes and findings to keep accurate records.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards to your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.
