About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced teams to help clients maintain transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role provides direct exposure to the audit process, allowing you to observe professional environments and apply accounting methodologies in real-world scenarios.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) during your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.
