About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will work within our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. This role provides exposure to auditing methodologies and helps you build a foundation in financial reporting. You will participate in client support initiatives and observe professional audit environments to gain practical insights into the field.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends for decision-making.
- Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) in daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Typically in the third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
