About the role#
The Fusion Studio for Entertainment and Engineering is looking for a Graphic Design and Digital Content Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. This role helps translate the mission of the studio into visual content for industry practitioners, educators, and students. You will work on a part-time basis, between 10 and 15 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Design graphics, visual assets, and branded materials.
- Support storytelling and audience engagement on social media and digital channels.
- Meet weekly with the operations manager at the Department of Theatre.
- Formulate strategies with the operations manager to build and nurture a new community.
- Respond to emails and requests within 24 hours.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Purdue Undergraduate student.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or Marq.
- Ability to create original, high-quality written and visual content.
- Understanding of social media procedures across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Experience using Purdue branding tools and templates.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently under deadlines and accept constructive feedback.
- A flexible schedule to manage changing demands.
Location & details#
- This position is based in West Lafayette, Indiana, with both remote and on-site work required.
- This is a paid, non-exempt, part-time internship.
