About the role#
Purdue University is hiring a student assistant to support the Testing Services team. This role involves managing daily office operations, assisting with exam logistics, and supporting professional staff with various administrative tasks.
What you'll do#
- Check students in and out for exams.
- Assist faculty with picking up and delivering exam materials.
- Use Microsoft Teams to communicate with staff.
- Handle phone inquiries, including forwarding calls and taking messages.
- Navigate the online accommodated testing system to view seating and exam schedules.
- Complete required training, certifications, and workshops.
- Support professional staff with specific projects.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.

- Ability to use Microsoft Teams.
- Commitment to following office protocols regarding workwear, timekeeping, and customer service.
- Ability to communicate with students with sensitivity and helpfulness.
Location & details#
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $11 per hour.
- Schedule: 10 to 20 hours per week, with a requirement of 10 hours during finals week.
- Term: Rolling.
