About the role#
As an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will join a team that values collaboration and hands-on learning. Throughout the internship, you will gain exposure to different industries and develop professional capabilities that support your future career. You will participate in the Liftoff onboarding experience and The Intern Challenge to help you build connections and confidence in your role.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Engage in business process audit and advisory tasks, such as monitoring controls and improving business functions.
- Perform technology audit and advisory work, including assessments of cybersecurity, AI risk, and data governance.
- Contribute your own ideas while working on real projects.
- Participate in internal initiatives, committees, and employee network groups.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, or Information Systems.
- Current enrollment in a degree program with an expected graduation date within 12 months of the internship completion.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Proficiency in using AI tools like Microsoft Copilot or GenAI for research and analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to apply innovation to client work.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.

- This position is based in Houston, Texas.
- The role operates on a hybrid model, balancing remote work with in-person collaboration at the office or client sites.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
