About the role#
Prosperity Bank offers an 8-week internship program during Summer 2027. You will work with the Central Oklahoma Lending and Credit teams to observe and review financial reports. The goal is to determine the risks involved in extending credit. You will work alongside lenders, portfolio managers, and management to monitor the existing loan portfolio and support new client development.
What you'll do#
- Spread and analyze commercial financial statements for current and prospective customers.
- Assist with the financial analysis and underwriting of loan packages.
- Prepare charts and narratives regarding sources and uses, capitalization, historical and projected financial statements, stress testing, and collateral valuation.
- Conduct diligence on business descriptions, industry and market analysis, and general credit risk factors.
- Review loan request packages, including loan structuring, guarantor analysis, and Global Debt Service Coverage calculations.
- Gather and analyze materials to evaluate collateral value.
- Complete rotations through various departments and participate in assigned shadowing.
- Deliver a final summer project centered on a loan presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions at once and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify risks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.

- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Modality: On-site.
