About the role#
Premier Trailer Leasing offers a summer internship for students interested in building a career in sales. You will work alongside Branch Managers and Sales Representatives to learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, and support the sales process. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Plano, Texas, running from May 31 through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Research prospective customers and conduct outbound prospecting.
- Join Branch Managers and Sales Representatives on customer visits.
- Update the CRM system with sales calls, opportunities, and customer contacts.
- Assist with generating customer rental and leasing agreements.
- Conduct customer satisfaction and follow-up calls.
- Support branch and corporate teams with projects related to sales and operations.
- Inspect trailers in the yard to understand equipment specifications and applications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year degree or graduate program in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics.
- A GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
- Interest in sales, business development, and account management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as inspecting trailers and walking the yard.
