About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work with our Risk and Accounting Advisory Services team. You will support clients by addressing business needs ranging from internal controls to accounting transactions. The role focuses on helping clients manage growth and mitigate risk through an integrated approach. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform internal audit and SOX/JSOX compliance services.
- Develop enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Document and test client internal control environments.
- Develop and implement risk-assessment models and methodologies.
- Assist clients with post-merger integration of accounting activities.
- Produce reports and presentations that outline findings and recommend changes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong skills in communication, critical thinking, organization, and problem solving.
- Technical and analytical proficiency.
- A detail-oriented approach to leadership.

- Locations: Southfield, Michigan; Denver Tech Center, Colorado; Chicago Riverside Plaza, Illinois.
- Modality: Hybrid work model.
- Note: This position may require travel and hours exceeding a standard 40-hour week. Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
