About the role#
Plains All American is seeking Accounting Interns for a 3-month summer term in Houston, Texas. This program provides hands-on experience within the oil and gas midstream sector. Interns work alongside experienced professionals across various groups, including Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Pipeline Accounting, and Crude Oil Accounting. You will contribute to projects that support our business logistics and gain practical knowledge of accounting and finance sub-disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Support senior team members by gathering, consolidating, analyzing, and presenting company and commodity market data.
- Assist in the development of accounting initiatives to support business logistics.
- Create and update reports using Microsoft tools, Oracle, and SharePoint.
- Use technology to help create efficient and streamlined processes for data analysis.
- Complete and present an assigned project to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to commit to a 3-month work term starting May 17, 2027.
