About the role#
Piper Sandler is hiring undergraduate students for the 2028 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program in Houston. This is a 10-week internship within the Energy, Power & Infrastructure group. The program includes one week of formal training at the firm headquarters in Minneapolis and provides a direct pipeline to full-time Analyst positions for the following year.
What you'll do#
- Learn financial modeling techniques.
- Perform basic analysis of companies and industries.
- Gain an understanding of how capital markets function.
- Attend networking events throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2028 or May/June 2029.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- A genuine willingness and desire to learn.
- Completion of finance and accounting coursework or relevant self-study is beneficial.
