About the role#
Piper Sandler is hiring undergraduate interns for the summer of 2027 to join the Public Finance division in Des Moines, Iowa. This group provides financial advisory and underwriting services to not-for-profit entities and state and local governments. You will work alongside our team to support debt issuance across various sectors, including healthcare, education, and government infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain information sources.
- Create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Compile pitchbooks for client presentations.
- Assist the Public Finance team with daily projects and assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student with a graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
