About the role#
This 10-week summer internship in New York focuses on private investment strategies, including alternative credit and special situations. You will work directly with associates and Portfolio Managers to support the sourcing, evaluation, underwriting, and management of investments. The role involves fundamental and capital structure analysis across corporate debt, real estate, and specialty finance markets.
What you'll do#
- Perform financial modeling and qualitative analysis to support direct lending and distressed debt investing.
- Use AI-powered tools to solve problems and contribute to team investment efforts.
- Participate in company-wide training and networking events.
- Join the Global Month of Volunteering alongside colleagues.
- Receive structured feedback through formal mid-summer and end-of-summer reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Enrollment at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability to begin full-time employment between January 2028 and August 2028.
- Academic background in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
