About the role#
PICTON Investments is seeking a People Operations Intern to join our People & Culture team for a full-time, 8-month internship. Reporting to the People Operations Business Partner, you will gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with our People Programs & Experience and Talent Acquisition teams to support various initiatives, including employee engagement, HR operations, and internal communications.
What you'll do#
- Support the delivery and evolution of the Business Fusion and AI Enablement program.
- Coordinate the setup, distribution, and administration of surveys using platforms like SurveyMonkey.
- Research, coordinate, and submit external employer awards and recognition program applications.
- Assist with training needs analyses by administering surveys, consolidating feedback, and preparing reports.
- Coordinate and support employee engagement activities, learning events, and People & Culture initiatives.
- Assist with performance management processes, including documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Support administrative and operational tasks across various department projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program or recent graduation in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools is considered an asset.
- A demonstrated interest in workplace culture, employee engagement, and DEI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
