About the role#
Perdue Farms is hiring an Audit Intern for the Winter 2027 term. This internship is based at our corporate headquarters in Salisbury, Maryland. You will work with the Internal Audit department to support our risk management, control, and governance processes. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 4 to 6 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Assist with compliance testing for the SOX and Internal Controls program.
- Help execute financial, information technology, and operational audits.
- Engage and work directly with senior leadership.
- Gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.

- Location: Salisbury, Maryland.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $21.90 to $28.13 per hour, based on graduation year.
- Note: This role is primarily sedentary, though you may occasionally move light supplies or equipment. You may be required to wear protective safety equipment if visiting plant environments.
