About the role#
Pepper Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Indianapolis. This position provides exposure to the commercial general contracting industry by supporting project activities that occur before construction begins.
What you'll do#
- Perform take-offs and manage bid scope sheets.
- Assist with subcontractor coordination.
- Attend training sessions and participate in safety activities.
- Join jobsite tours to see active projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in Construction Management or a related field.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Capacity to work independently and contribute to a team.
- Reliable transportation for work-related assignments.
