Intern Project Management/Operations - Commercial Construction

About the role#

Pepper Construction Group is seeking students to gain hands-on experience in commercial construction. Interns are paired with a Project Manager mentor to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical, day-to-day operations. This role involves exposure to both office-based project management and field-based job site activities.

What you'll do#

• Process submittals and take-offs.
• Assist with the preparation of project budgets.
• Attend job site and owner meetings.
• Participate in company training sessions and job site tours.
• Learn and apply safety protocols and industry standards.

What you'll need#

• Current status as a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, Operations Management, Real Estate, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new technology quickly.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong multi-tasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
