About the role#
This is a part-time internship opportunity for a rental representative. You will work with our sales, administrative, service, and operations teams. This role is designed for individuals who want to build their skills in an entrepreneurial environment. You will typically work 15 to 25 hours per week, including weekends.
What you'll do#
- Manage the inbound and outbound sales process.
- Generate new business leads and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Oversee a large fleet of vehicles and match vehicle demand with availability.
- Coordinate all aspects of customer accounts.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid Driver's License and the ability to drive Penske vehicles, including 26-foot box trucks.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Ability to make independent decisions and work well in a team.
- Willingness to travel as necessary and work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
- Six months of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are preferred.
