About the role#
The Golf Junior Intern program offers local students a chance to learn operational procedures at a premier resort destination. This program is for high school students aged 16 to 18 who are interested in the hospitality industry or a career in golf. You will work 24 to 32 hours per week during the summer months of June and July.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests in a polite and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with golf bags and equipment.
- Maintain a clean area around the Clubhouse and Cart Barn.
- Patrol the area to assist guests and help with first tee or podium duties.
- Count and clean rental sets and clean shoes upon request.
- Assist with driving range and retail operations.
- Organize and maintain the rental club closet.
- Manage golf cart usage, including cleaning, charging, and inspecting carts for damage or safety issues.
- Tag carts that require mechanic maintenance.
- Perform on-course maintenance, such as fixing ball marks and divots.
- Follow all company safety and health policies.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
What you'll need#
- Must be a high school student between 16 and 18 years old.
- A desire to deliver quality service and a willingness to learn new skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as a teammate.
- Familiarity with the game of golf is desirable.
- Experience with Word and Excel.
- A valid CA driver license is preferred for employment, and it is required if you are to drive golf carts.

- This internship is located in Pebble Beach, California.
- The position is on-site and paid at $17.40 per hour.
- This is a temporary, part-time summer role for 2027.
