About the role#
The Golf Junior Intern Program offers local students the chance to gain firsthand knowledge of operational procedures at Pebble Beach Resorts. This program runs during Summer 2027, specifically June and July. Interns work between 24 and 32 hours per week. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
- Arrive on time and ready to work.
- Proactively greet guests and assist with golf bags and equipment.
- Maintain a clean environment around the Clubhouse and Cart Barn.
- Patrol the area to look for ways to assist guests.
- Help with first tee and podium duties.
- Count and clean rental sets and clean shoes upon request.
- Support driving range and retail operations.
- Organize and maintain the rental club closet.
- Manage golf cart operations, including staging, cleaning, charging, and checking for damage.
- Tag carts with issues and remove them from service.
- Perform on-course maintenance, such as fixing ball marks and divots.
- Handle general maintenance of the Hay and Practice Facilities.
- Comply with all company safety and health policies.
What you'll need#
- You must be a high school student aged 16 to 18.
- A desire to deliver good service and a willingness to learn new skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to be a good teammate.
- Knowledge of Pebble Beach Company is preferred.
- Familiarity with the game of golf is preferred.
- Familiarity with Word and Excel is preferred.
- A valid California driver's license is preferred for employment and required to drive golf carts.
