Scheduling Student

About the role#

PCL Construction is seeking a Scheduling Student for the Toronto district within the Canadian Buildings Division. This position is available for 4 or 8 months, beginning in September 2026, and offers the opportunity to contribute to project teams while gaining professional experience in a construction environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist with schedule creation and updates for small projects under the direction of the Scheduling Manager.
• Create schedule content and complete routine updates.
• Support schedulers in monitoring and communicating project schedules to the project and scheduling teams.
• Utilize basic knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, and methods to support project goals.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics.
• Basic knowledge of building materials, methods, and construction specifications.
• Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
