Multimedia Student

About the role#

PCL Construction is seeking a Multimedia Student to join the Toronto District of the Canadian Buildings Division for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Oakville, Ontario. You will contribute to the creative team by producing media content that supports internal and external communications, business development, and marketing initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Produce visually compelling media materials, including photography, graphic design, and video content for brochures, presentations, and proposals.
• Visit project sites to capture high-quality photography and video of projects and personnel.
• Manage the full production lifecycle for video and sound projects, including script writing, filming, editing, audio leveling, and color grading.
• Support business development by creating branded materials that align with corporate visual identity.
• Set up and operate production equipment, such as cameras, audio recorders, and lighting.
• Develop production timelines and manage tasks to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Coordinate and execute photography assignments while adhering to site health and safety guidelines.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program for multimedia, video/film studies, journalism, graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
• Superior proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
• Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of social media integration within business processes.
• Ability to work as an organized self-starter within a creative team environment.

• Compensation: $19.57 - $28.69 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
