About the role#
PCL Construction is seeking a Proposals Student for the Toronto District within the Canadian Buildings Division. This is a paid, full-time position based in Oakville, Ontario, for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside a team of Proposal Specialists to support the development of Expressions of Interest (EOI), Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team on the preparation of submission documents.
- Assist with the RFP review process, including identifying requirements, outlining timelines, and highlighting potential risks.
- Participate in kick-off Strategic Visioning and proposal planning sessions.
- Research key data required for submission documents.
- Translate proposal visions into layouts and graphics, including visual communication strategies and image selection.
- Assemble and review responses to ensure compliance, accuracy, and content integrity.
- Proof, edit, and reword text for clarity and accuracy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program related to communications, such as Communications, Graphic Design, or Marketing.
- Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
- Competency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign is considered an asset.

- Compensation: $19.57 - $28.69 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
