Procurement Student

About the role#

PCL Construction is seeking a Procurement Student to join the Toronto District within our Canadian Buildings Division. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in Oakville, Ontario, contributing to procurement and equipment management activities in a supportive team environment.

What you'll do#

• Source materials, services, and equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify and select vendors based on criteria such as price, quantity, quality, safety, and delivery timelines.
• Expedite orders and manage shipping and receiving tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and records.
• Prepare procurement reports and documentation.
• Provide equipment administration support and practice company safety standards.
• Assist with general procurement and equipment management tasks.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program with a specialization in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Logistics.
• A strong interest in working within the construction industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and effective time management abilities.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients.

• Compensation: $19.57 - $28.69 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
