Graphic Design Student

About the role#

PCL Construction is seeking a Graphic Design Student to join the North American Headquarters in Edmonton for a full-time internship during the Fall 2026 term. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to company-wide visual strategies and work collaboratively with a creative team of design, UX/UI, and cinematography professionals.

What you'll do#

• Contribute to the company-wide visual strategy for internal and external communication activities, including digital brochures, social media content, and photography post-processing.
• Develop visually compelling materials for marketing campaigns, communication strategies, and digital platforms while adhering to corporate brand guidelines.
• Manage tasks and priorities effectively as part of a creative team to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Support presentations by creating or formatting engaging PowerPoint materials.
• Build strong, customer-focused relationships with internal stakeholders.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary graphic design or digital media program.
• Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and excellent time management skills.
• Ability to create visually compelling materials and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Figma is considered an asset.
• A digital portfolio demonstrating your design process and understanding of design principles.
