PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is seeking an Engineering Student to support infrastructure projects within the Canadian Buildings Division. This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, for the Fall 2026 term. Reporting directly to a Project Manager, students will engage in challenging work assignments designed to support professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate work-specific scopes and trades.
- Participate in project meetings.
- Conduct deficiency walks and maintain deficiency logs.
- Perform quantity takeoffs.
- Coordinate sub-trade work.
- Create and update project schedules using Suretrak software.
- Obtain and integrate scheduling information from sub-trades.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering, or Architecture.
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting software.
- Ability to apply various computer software programs to project tasks.
- Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Fall 2026 (4-8 months starting September 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21.73 - $26.65 per hour, determined based on completed school terms, relevant work experience, and location.
