About the role#
This position within the Dean's Office supports daily operations through administrative and clerical tasks. You will work on-site in a role that involves direct interaction with visitors and staff. This is a paid, rolling-term opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and handle incoming correspondence.
- Create, organize, and maintain paper and electronic filing systems.
- Prepare documents using Microsoft Office applications.
- Assist with data entry and complete forms following department procedures.
- Operate standard office equipment including copiers and phone systems.
- Help with special projects, research, and events as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current eligibility for student employment as determined by Financial Aid.
- Knowledge of general office procedures and filing systems.
- Strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to work effectively and inclusively in a diverse setting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Excel, and Word.
- Punctuality and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
