About the role#
As a Data Intern, you will work with our data science team to support business processes across the enterprise. This role involves working with patient experience, clinical quality, marketing, operations, finance, and business development data.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain data ecosystem workflows, ETL, and technical processes.
- Manage API and direct database pipeline integrations.
- Analyze data to ensure quality and consistency.
- Create and update technical documentation, including design documents, process models, and data dictionaries.
- Develop Business Intelligence reports and data-driven applications.
- Improve existing data pipeline processes.
- Assist with KPI development and analytics projects.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, MIS, statistics, applied math, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Data Engineering, Architecture, or BI Development role.
- Experience with cloud computing environments, specifically Azure.
- Knowledge of database design, data warehousing, and data structures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- This role is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- This is a paid internship with a rolling term.
