About the role#
Packsize is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 term to support the Accounting department. This part-time position involves approximately 20 hours per week with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions. You will gain hands-on experience with invoice submission, financial reporting, and audit support while working as part of the U.S. Accounting team. This role requires working on-site in the office at least two days per week.
What you'll do#
- Monitor invoice status by reviewing customer third-party portals.
- Navigate portal interfaces to resubmit invoices or provide necessary supporting documentation.
- Communicate invoice disputes or exceptions, such as pricing, quantity, or purchase order discrepancies, to the Accounts Receivable team.
- Prepare weekly reports for treasury, cash, and banking functions.
- Assist with intercompany account reconciliations and research outstanding differences.
- Support external audit processes by gathering documentation and responding to requests.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or related coursework is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive or confidential information responsibly.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.
